Our beautiful Chapel is available to all denominations for services. The Chapel can seat 108 people. French doors separating the Chapel and Narthex may be opened during a service to provide seating for an additional 50 people. A Bride’s Room is located in the Narthex and is beautifully decorated with Birdseye Maple antique furniture and upholstered chairs.
The Chapel is situated in the Girdwood Valley with spectacular views of the local mountains and Moose Meadows. It is located within walking distance to the Alyeska Prince Hotel, which is convenient for wedding receptions. You may also consider renting our lower level, The Meadows Community Hall, for your reception. The hotel and several other wonderful Girdwood restaurants are available to cater your event.
The Chapel and The Meadows were designed for access by all. An elevator is available for access between the two levels.
Rental Fees:
To use The Chapel for a wedding the fee is $850. This includes your Rehearsal and Wedding date (4 hours).
The church requires Liability Insurance to be taken out for the event. It can be purchased through a homeowner’s policy. If this isn’t possible, you can purchase insurance through The Chapel of Our Lady of the Snows via the Archdiocese for $100.
