Welcome to the website for the Chapel of Our Lady of the Snows and the Meadows Community Center. We opened the doors of our new building on Christmas Eve 2005 and welcome you to use our chapel for spiritual and religious services and our community center for gatherings and other community venues. Our building is operated by the Catholic congregation of the mission parish, Our Lady of the Snows. It is an eucumenical interfaith facility meaning that other faiths are able to use both the chapel and community center for their services, weddings, and other events.

Our Chapel is set in a small mountain community with year round and weekend residents, who seek refuge to ski, hike and generally renew their hearts and souls in the peaceful surroundings of the Girdwood valley. All who visit or live here know it to be a special, tranquil place; a place for reflection, healing and renewal. The rich natural beauty of Girdwood mountains, forests and streams surrounds us. This is the perfect setting for weddings, retreats or public gatherings. Please review the building use policies and consider taking advantage of this wonderful facility for your special event.
